Reviews of the Dr Simeons HCG Diet are quite revealing. Any dieter looking to know more about the program, its creator, how the diet works, and the steps one needs to take to be successful can find what they seek in the myriad online reviews of the diet. HCG diet reviews are primarily positive and highly suggestive, indicating that the Dr Simeons Diet is indeed an effective method for weight reduction.
HCG diet reviews indicate that this diet has been a bit controversial. Concerns about the use of injections have been cited, but now that issue has been addressed with the creation of easy to use, safe HCG drops. Diet reviews cite scientific data and real world experiences, all which indicate the power of the diet plan. First, those dieters that have used HCG drops or injections have continually indicated their impressive weight loss success. Secondly, a close examination of reviews indicate that Dr. Simeons had conducted rigorous testing on the product and the plan, thus proving its effectiveness and that the diet can be used safely by men and women.
Diet reviews examine the coupling of a low calorie diet with supplement use and the use of a low calorie diet without HCG supplement use too. The findings are remarkable and lean in favor of using HCG products. Why? HCG products diminish the hunger one would otherwise experience if the products were not used. While eating 500 calories in a day may seem like starving oneself on any other diet, the HCG weight loss program works on a 500-calorie diet with no hunger cravings. What this means is that dieters are dropping as much as three pounds a day without thinking about food constantly.
As a dieter examines HCG Diet Reviews, they will often come across a few reviews that are less than positive. These reviews should be examined with a critical eye however. One will find that they are written by someone who has never even been on the Dr Simeons HCG Diet or a person that did not successfully complete the plan for whatever reason. Such reviews should be compared to the hundreds of reviews citing positive benefits from HCG use.

QUESTION:
Does the HCG diet actually work? Is it safe?
I've been reading a lot about the HCG diet and there are mixed reviews. I just wanted to hear what people who may be taking it now have to say about it. I really want to try it, but I'm scared.
I have about 60 pounds I want to lose.-
ANSWER:
I lost 16 pounds in 24 days with the Hcg diet I bought form prohcgdiet.com The Hcg deit in general starts out with 2 days of "loading" which means you can eat anything you want and as much as you want! I did burgers, pizza, ice cream, fried chicken and more. Talk about feeling guilty!Anyway, on day 3 I started the VCLD (very low calorie diet). On day 4 I woke up to a 3lb loss and then the next day it was almost 2 pounds! When you are dropping weight like that it real easy to stay motivated. I cheated some and still had great weight loss results. I have tried a lot of different diets and this one was actually pretty easy and most of all, FAST! Good Luck!

QUESTION:
How effective is the HCG drops diet?
I'm wanting to gather a good amount of information about the "HCG drops" diet, but I only want to hear from those who have actually tried it.
What are the pros and cons? Was it effective (did it work or not work for you? and how so?)
What is the MAIN PURPOSE for this diet ?
Any information, reviews, advice, etc. is greatly appreciated.

ANSWER:
HCG is an acronym for the hormone Human Chorio Gonadotropin, which is
found in both men and women, though pregnant women have the highest
levels of HCG in their bodies.
The HCG hormone can be made synthetically or extracted from a
pregnant woman's urine and then processed for use by other humans.
Advocates of the HCG diet believe that, by strict dieting
and taking daily injections of HCG, people can successfully lose
weight. They say that dieters following the HCG
diet should expect to lose somewhere between a half pound and 3 pounds
(.23 to 1.36 kilograms) each day on the low-calorie, high-fiber plan.
You consume a mere 500 calories a day on this diet.
They say that that combining the
low-calorie diet with the HCG hormone injections will lead to
immediate weight loss without the common side effects of many
diets, such as hunger pains, headaches and nausea. They
believe that because the HCG injections burn fat, the hormone provides
the body with necessary energy while reducing hunger and keeping the
body out of starvation mode.
Anybody eating that little is bound to lose weight, of course, and
many people found out that injection did not make it easier to bear
hunger.
And the drug lacks substantial research, so exposing your body to such
a restrictive diet may not be in your best interests.
The original HCG diet plan is quite restrictive and particular. For
breakfast, you can have only tea or coffee without sugar. The diet
puts a one-tablespoon limit on how much milk you can consume each day,
so if you require milk with your coffee and tea, you'll want to keep
this in mind. For lunch and dinner, you can cook 100 grams (.22
pounds) of lean meat or seafood and pair it with one vegetable from
this list of 13: asparagus, beet greens, cabbage, celery, chard,
chicory, cucumbers, fennel, green salad, onions, red radishes, spinach
and tomatoes. For lunch and dinner, you can eat one toast cracker and
an orange, apple, half a grapefruit or strawberries.
Administration of the hormone is usually through two methods -- either an oral
supplement or a liquid injection.
The FDA has approved HCG injections for use in fertility issues, but not in dieting.
There are a few dangers that come with injecting HCG into your body.
As with any injected medication, the potential for blood clots exists. Some women
who have injected HCG have experienced a serious condition called
ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), which can be deadly.
Other less serious side effects might be headaches and
depression. Young boys taking HCG might experience premature puberty.
Pregnant or nursing women could cause harm to their
babies if the hormone is passed on.
And although advocates claim that HCG keeps the body functioning
properly, a diet of 500 calories is below any healthy amount
recommended by most doctors. Weight loss is almost guaranteed when
you're eating so much less than the recommended daily allowance, but
you may risk your health. And although the HCG is supposed to help
with side effects, in one study the HCG injections showed no different
feelings or results than a placebo injection.

QUESTION:
Whats up with the HCG diet?
So... I made a status of mine on facebook stating that I wanted to lose weight & that I was in search of some diet/exercise partners to follow a 6wk plan with me.I received a comment from my cousin (that I hardly ever talk to or see) & she began to tell me that her & a friend of hers is doing a 6wk program themselves and she called it the HCG Organic diet.
Now never before this have I ever even heard of this diet until she told me.
She told me that she has done this diet before & lost 40lbs in 6wks.
After searching this diet & reading reviews on it I must say that I am still a skeptic.
The diet consist of HCG injections or taking drops daily in addition to a 500 calorie a day organic diet & you don't have to exercise.
For the record... HCG stands for Human Chorionic Gonadotropins: The major hormone secreted by the placenta. In the early stages of pregnancy.
As I have told her... It sounds like a starvation diet to me & I am very awear of the starvation diet & the consequences because I've did this diet for 15 days before & I lost 25lbs in that short amount of time then after the 15 days I began to slowly introduce foods back to my body but the end result was that my tummy seemed to be the place on me where it began to store fat for it didn't know if it would ever be starved again.
I ended up gaining all of that weight back plus more.
I explained this to my cousin & she stated & I quote... After you complete the 6 weeks you continue to eat the organic foods for another 6 weeks and you slowly introduce other foods back into your diet. If you jump back into eating regular foods after the 6 weeks of course you will gain the weight back. You are (in simple form) resetting your metabolism in the 2nd six weeks to keep the weight off.
So I said to her... So is the diet actually a 12wk program? Tell me cuz? Are you hungry on this diet? Do you get dizzy? & why do a diet that would make you have to reset your metabolism afterwards just as you would need to do after a starvation diet? Im sorry but it's pretty much sounding like a starvation diet to me except you get 500 calories more than you actually would on a starvation diet. Why not just do a organic diet, not combining it with the HCG injections that you are doing because there is no scientific evidence that the HCG even helps with the weight loss process & instead just exercise?
She says... When you eat a low calorie diet without the hcg you lose structural fat instead of the abnormal fat and your body needs the structural fat.
Yet I read a review that stated that this is not true & although this person did lose an excessive amount of weight he also lost muscle. & in his exact words he says... In my opinion, the HCG Diet is just like any other starvation diet out there today, as far as end results. Only 59% of my weight loss was actual fat. Included in that fat loss was a drop in my visceral fat-- this is needed structural fat, the kind that HCG is supposed to prevent. I am here to tell you that it most certainly DID NOT protect me from losing vital fat. And it certainly didn't protect me from losing vital muscle.
Also I read where some of the sellers are not selling you exactly what you think you are buying. The HCG is not cheap & you could be getting scammed. Wouldn't it upset you if you found out after you spent hundreds of dollars that it really wasn't HCG in the bottle & it was something else like maybe saline???
So of course I'd love to lose 40lbs in 6wks but I am asking all that has done this diet & it has been well over 12wks since to give me your review on it because as I said I am still skeptical???

QUESTION:
Has anyone donet he HCG drops diet?
I was looking at some weight loss solutions and I saw these HCG drops on amazon. They had a lot of positive reviews, but I noticed something about having to stick to a 500 calorie diet and there are very limited types of foods you're allowed to eat... does anyone know what these limitations are, and what they consequences are if you dont stick to them? (for instance, does the diet simply loose effectiveness, or are there negative physical consequences?) Any feedback and success/warnings about these drops is appreciated.-

QUESTION:
has anybody tried the HCG diet?
okay so i found out about this diet called the HCG diet and looked up review and stuff and found alot of people on youtube who lost 50+ pounds in 70 days and i was wondering if it actually works or if its just the fact that you have to eat 500 or less calories per day ? anyways i just wanna know if it worked for anybody and how much they lost (p.s i eat 1000 calories per day or less and am 225lb but i work out 1 hour per week) oh and if you did use hcg and it worked can you tell me the brand you used ?
thanks in advance because this may really change my life
-
ANSWER:
While you are consuming only 500 calories, your hypothalamus is continually releasing the stored fat from your body. Therefore, your body is actually operating on thousands of calories per day from stored fat. This is why HCG dieters successfully resculpt their bodies by losing 1 - 2 pounds of fat per day. Most people are so suprised how they are not even hungry after a couple of days. You are so right, it could really change your life! It is an amazing diet. My results were just over a pound per day. You can see the source below. Best of luck to you!

QUESTION:
Has anyone tried the HcG diet?
So there are these new pills that I've heard about.. The HcG pills. Supposedly they make you lose 1-2 pounds a day. The thing is, you can only eat 500 calories a day. Has anyone tried this? All the reviews on GNC are really good but then again it might be fake.-
ANSWER:
I have been using HCG to lose weight and so have MANY of my friends. We are all doing great! I got my drops from prohcgdiet.com. The very low calorie diet is for anywhere between 21 and 42 days and then you up your calories. The HCG makes you not hungry at all because it releases your irregular fat into your body and then you urinate the fat right away. It is the greatest thing I have ever tried. If you got very sick, maybe you have other health issues, but being fat isn't good for your blood sugar either. As for eating nothing in the morning, I ate my apple for breakfast everyday and it totally satisfied me. The protocol absolutely works if you follow it. Most people who fail while under the protocol try and modify the protocol to their own wants, not needs. Good luck in your diet searches but this diet totaly works in the "REAL" food world. It just depends what you CHOOSE to eat. You cannot continue to put junk in your body and exect to lose weight

QUESTION:
HCG Platinum X-30 - Has anybody tried this diet?
If so, how hard is it to stick to? I just received it (the drops) in the mail. I'm just ending day 1 of the "fat loading days" and I'm getting a little bit nervous that I'm going to cave in since it's a very low calorie diet. I just need some actual reviews to let me know what I'm in for! And please, only people who have actually been on it! Thank you in advance!

ANSWER:
A 500 calorie per day diet is considered anorexic. Mix it with a hormone from pregnant women's urine and you get a miracle diet!
All over the counter hcg products were announced as illegal and fraudulent by the FDA on January 24, 2011. Testing concluded that all over the counter oral and injection products on the market have little to no real hcg in them but most a similar synthetic hormone. I was in GNC several months ago. They carry three brands of hcg drops and not one of them has any hcg in them. The salesman in fact agreed when I mentioned it. They contain "similar hormones" or amino acids. Sort of like I'm going to sell you this Toyota Prius but it is really a Ford Focus but we're going to put a price tag on it that says it is a Toyota Prius. Excuse me?
Anyone that lost weight especially with the drops did it because they ate fewer calories than they burned. The hcg acted as the placebo to help them lose the weight.
Next year will mark 60 years since this fraudulent science was started.
The only approved use for hcg is to increase fertility in both men and women.
The doctors exploiting this benign hormone with the ability to prescribe injections can't even agree on how it works. Some say it releases stored fat calories into the system. Others say it acts as an appetite suppressant. Neither explanation justifies the weight loss in the individuals taking the oral drops with NO hcg in them that still lost weight.
By the way, the expensive "clinical injections" are not covered by insurance since it is not FDA approved. What doctor wouldn't want to get an "all cash" practice going?
Check out these clips before going further. Just aired a few months ago.
http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/weight-loss-controversy-hcg-diet-pt-1The bottom line here is the exploitation of the law allowing a MD to prescribe an approved drug for a use other than what it is approved for. The FDA will step in someday.
So the question is are you willing to risk your health based on testimonials, not research, and statements from doctors profiting in this all cash business?

QUESTION:
Anyone tried HCG for weight loss?
A friend at work was telling me his mother-in-law and wife both went on the HCG diet, taking drops and following a specific meal plan and they were both wildly successful. I have been doing some online research and finding conflicting reviews so I was just looking for some thoughts from people who have tried it themselves.I am not here to be lectured, I'm not stupid. If you violate any guidelines, I will report you immediately.
-
ANSWER:
I tried the diet and lost 30 lbs in less than a month and I kept it off for a while but eventually went back to my old ways of eating and gained every single pound back. If you have very bad eating habits the diet will be very difficult at first but if you have the will power to stick to a strict 500 calorie diet and are determined to make some changes in your eating habits (after the diet) then you will be successful! After your first two days (the gorging/fat days) the first couple days on the diet are hard and you will feel hungry and your stomach will hurt but after that you will get used to it and eating 500 calories becomes easy and as you see the pounds and inches come off- you will be so proud of yourself and see that your hard work as paid off. That's not to say that you won't be able to eat sweets, breads and pastas after the diet but your eating habits will have to be very different and your portions (for starches and sweets) will be much smaller. My mother did the hcg diet as well and has kept off 25 pounds for several months now- she looks and feels great. I tried to do the diet again and it was difficult because i knew what I was getting into and just wasn't ready to commit. So, try it out and stay committed the first time. If you do the homeopathic drops you can stay on it for up to 44 days (I believe). The diet was developed several decades ago and so some of the information and food allowed (and not allowed) is a little outdated. So do some more research and don't pay a lot of money to do the diet through a clinic. You can order drops (or shots if you really want...) online and just use the information you've researched for under , where some clinics will charge several hundred dollars. Good luck!

QUESTION:
skeptical about this diet.......help?
i am kinda skeptical about the hcg diet protocol. ive heard alot of good things about it. ive got a good 30 to 35 pounds i want to lose. i have been gaining this since my sophomore year of high school and now im almost 20. im not fat, but im definately getting sick of not having my flat stomach anymore. i have tried exercises and diet galore. and yes ill admit i tried a crash diet once and i will NEVER try that again. i really really really want to try the hcg diet i saw some homeopathic drops on amazon. there were alot of good customer reviews. i was also drawn to these cause they werent so expensive as others. they were like 20 bucks. i just want to know from PEOPLE WHO HAE TRIED THIS DIET...what do you think??thanks
i hope i get some good advice!-
ANSWER:
There are really no magic diets or diet pills. The issue, as with any diet, is your ability to STICK TO THE DIET. PERMANENTLY. Research shows that as long as a diet induces some type of calorie deficit, none are more effective than others in the long term (2 years and onward). The reason why most people fail when they try to lose weight because they try to radically change their eating patterns...which are not so easily changed. The recommendation has always been to cut calories wherever you are able to, a bit at a time. That way, the transition is gradual and you are less likely to fall off the wagon.
Don't even get me started on that homeopathy nonsense. It's all unsupported snake oil, like the majority of "alternative" medicine that never stands the test of science (or time).

QUESTION:
Have you heard of HCG?
Okay, I know that basically any "quick fix" (which is what this looks like) that's not proper diet and exercise wouldn't lead to effective LASTING weight loss.Have you heard of HCG? I keep reading positive reviews online, and i'm really surprised!
1. How can you eat 500 calories and not gain it all back?
2. Do you have to take it more than 30 days?
Is this product legitimate? Educate me?
Thank you for your insight.
hahah..no, i'm not paid! thank you though.guess all those grammar courses paid off ;P
-
ANSWER:
1. Your body burns calories throughout the whole day every day.2550 for a man 1950 for a woman.
If your only eating 500 calories, you will lose weight in the short term but more than likely gain it all back again due to the effects of starvation on your metabolism.
To lose 1lb a week you'd need to eat 500 calories less each day or burn 500 calories more than the daily requirement. Which does vary depending on your activity levels.
2. I wouldn't bother. From a quick google and a look on wikipedia HCG is homeopathic. Homeopathic remedies are diluted to the point where there is actually trace or none of the compound left in the water at the end anyway.
If you really wanna take drugs to sort out something a little diet and exercise could fix just fine then be my guest. But at least take something that is clinically proven rather than basically drinking water.
I don't know why but your question also looks like you've been paid to put it on here to advertise HCG. Just the way its laid out and how its written. Sorry if this isn't the case.
To summarize, leave the junk alone and change your lifestyle for long term weight loss.

HCG oral spray? myfatcure.com?
ok so ive done some research at myfatcure.com i was goin to order some HCG spray from that site.i have not seen or heard any bad reviews jus all good ones.can anybody tell me anything else i would need to kno about this diet> its pretty exspensive so i wanna be sure its not a scam-
ANSWER:
There is no scientific evidence supporting HCG as a weight loss strategy. The FDA has required all marketing and advertising of HCG to state the following: “HCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or ‘normal’ distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.Independent peer-reviewed studies of the hCG diet have shown no difference in weight loss between subjects on a low-calorie diet who received hCG injections and subjects who received a placebo [source: Conis]. One study even showed that both the placebo group and the HCG group reported major hunger pangs throughout the treatment.

ANSWER:
I'm 26 years old and the hcg diet from prohcgdiet.com worked amazing for me! I didn't necessarily need to lose much weight, but this diet was definitely a lifestyle change for me. Following the diet was definitely the most challenging part, but if you tough it out the results really are life-changing. I lost 19 pounds and 34 inches total in 6 weeks and am on my fourth week of the 6 weeks of maintining my weight. My mom and younger sister, who is 15, also did this diet and for all three of us the results were amazing! After doing this diet, you are much more aware of the things you ate before and all of the bad things that are in the food that most people consider healthy. I would strongly encourage anyone to do this diet; it will change your weight as well as your lifestyle
